Anna's introduction to yoga happened during her time as a student at the State Academy of Arts and Culture, branch of modern dance. Her initial interest in yoga was fueled by a desire to understand the diverse possibilities of the physical body, especially in the context of classical, folk, and modern dance. Yoga, particularly the practice of Chaturanga Dandasana, became a source of physical strength and resilience, earning her deep respect for the practice. Anna's deepening connection with yoga led her to the world of Jivamukti Yoga and crossed paths with its founders, Sharon Gannon and David Life at Yoga Journal conference in Moscow. Anna's dedication to Jivamukti method grew over time, and it became not just a practice but a way of life, developing her as a person, student and teacher and providing her with creative expression.
